We went for dinner with family. The staff were welcoming and friendly . I had the ½ crispy duck with egg fried rice. It was delicious. The portion sizes were plentiful. Throughly enjoyed it. Dessert was equally as nice. Bill was inaccurate, but rectified immediately.

Very nice carvery with excellent rare breed pork. Its down a lane and is gradually being spruced up. The lady owner was most welcoming and they are dog friendly. Recommended

The rather rundown exterior should not put you off. The welcome is warm, and the food, in my case the carvery, was absolutely lovely. We walked in on Mothering Sunday and despite the fact that it was really busy and we hadn't booked we were welcomed and accomodated without any problems, we were even put in the queue for the carvery ahead of a large party. All the staff are genuinely friendly and helpful.

This was our 2nd time of coming back and this visit was even better than the first. The rooms were warm and had everything we needed. Breakfasts were fantastic and in the evening we had a wonderful meal and played games and the staff were very friendly. Hotel is in lovely maintained grounds and we will definately be coming back. Well done to Dean and his team 🙌
